A NIBS e-Learning Cafe is a place near you with computers, internet, a safe space to study and someone to help you enrol. The learning stays online, so it is the same course wherever you sit. Katlehong Computer School, the NIBS Katlehong campus, is e-Learning Cafe 001.

Desktop computers, internet access and a quiet place to work, so the cost of a device or data never decides whether you can study.
Someone to help
Basic learner support: help registering, finding your course and getting unstuck. The teaching itself is online, from NIBS, so a cafe does not need to be a training provider.
Your Workplace Lab tasks, done here
Workplace Lab tasks can be completed and submitted from a cafe, with the same evidence and the same NIBS assessment as anywhere else.

- To be confirmed per cafe. Using a cafe for free courses is intended to be free.
- Before your first visit
- Call the cafe: each one sets its own hours and whether you need to book, and can tell you about step-free access and facilities.
- Formal qualifications
- Delivered and assessed only at the NIBS Katlehong campus, the QCTO-accredited address. Other cafes are for NIBS Plus and free courses.

Internet cafes, NGOs, libraries, schools after hours, community and youth centres, churches, and entrepreneurs with suitable computers. You do not need to be a training provider. NIBS supplies the learning; you supply the access.
