Focused learning built around the work people actually do in a specific industry. Each academy uses the same model: learn in NIBS Campus, practise in the Workplace Lab, be assessed against a NIBS standard.

No Industry Academy is open yet. Academies are built with a sector partner around the roles that sector needs; the first ones will be listed here as they are confirmed.
How an academy is built
Start from the work
An academy begins with the roles an industry needs and the tasks those roles actually perform. NIBS turns that into competencies and a standard.
Learn and practise it
NIBS delivers the learning, online and at e-Learning Cafes. The Workplace Lab provides the tasks, evidence submission and assessment, using briefs drawn from the industry itself.
Recognise it
Every learner's competence is recorded by NIBS and can be verified by employers. Organisations that sponsor an academy can follow their cohort's progress.
